The Muritz is a replica of a model kit and blueprint that was popular in the German Democratic Republic. 
The frame construction with large fuselage sides allows the model to be built quickly and easily making it an ideal beginner kit.
Whilst maintaining the charm of the historic model, the kit has been designed for remote control and electric motors used today.
The wooden construction kit contains all plywood parts already cut out with laser beam, shaft and stern tube as well as all material for rudders and joints. A detailed assembly instruction explains the assembly of the precisely fitting laser parts, so that the assembly should present no problems even for a beginner in handling wood.

In order to run as remote control, the following will be required:
- Dual channel radio remote control with one servo
- Speed controller: minimum of 20A, forward/reverse
- Electric motor: maximum power of 600
- Interference suppression kit for electric motors
- Shaft coupling: 3.18mm/4mm
- Driving battery: 6-8.4V from 2 Ah
- Charger: 220V or 12V operation
- Cables, connectors, paints and adhesives
